Pageants are more than the dazzling gowns and sparkling crowns – they are a celebration of poise, preparation, and hard work. Behind the scenes, it’s a whirlwind of hair and makeup, carefully chosen accessories, and many months of practice and dedication. Each and every detail matters, and it takes maximum organization to ensure every detail gets its shining moment on stage!
This is no secret to 2023-2024 American Royal Beauties Miss Minnesota, Tatyana. We are thrilled that we got the opportunity to work alongside her in creating a pageant-oriented Craft-n-Go case. Pageantry requires confidence and grace, and having the right tools to keep things in order makes all the difference. Below, Tatyana shares her unique journey to Ohio with her Craft-n-Go case.
Her Story and Introduction
“My name is Tatyana Beerbower, and I am the 2023-2024 American Royal Beauties Miss Minnesota. I’ve always been passionate about reaching others and engaging with community, and that is what motivated me to join pageantry. Not to mention, I love gowns and all things pink! It brings me great joy to share who and what I love most with those around me. Pageants allow me to express my creativity and showcase my true, authentic self!”
The American Royal Beauties National Pageant, held in Cincinnati, Ohio, was Tatyana’s first experience competing on a national stage.
“I’ve participated at the county and state levels before, but I never had to travel to a different state to compete. It was a different experience from what I’m used to, but I had so much fun!”
Throughout the week-long event, Tatyana took part in various competitions and built lasting friendships.
“I competed for the title of National Miss, and the required competitions were introduction, formal wear, and interview. However, there were a few side competitions that I chose to be a part of. Those were top model and talent. I went home as a 3-time national talent winner, and I was awarded first runner-up in the top model competition. But my favorite part was all the new friends that I made throughout the entire week of competition.”
Her Craft-n-Go traveled alongside her throughout the week of competition.
Why She Chose Craft-n-Go
“I chose Craft-n-Go because when I travel to and from competitions and pageant events, I often have to carry multiple bags filled with my supplies, and that doesn’t include my luggage, wardrobe, and snacks. It was inefficient and I often spent valuable practice time setting up or tearing down my original makeup and wardrobe configuration. I was looking for something simpler and more convenient, and this is when I found Craft-n-Go!”
How She Set It Up
“When I was putting my Craft-n-Go together, I made sure to think about it from the perspective of convenience and simplicity. Dividing it up into three sections made the most sense to me. In the upper, inner lid, I stored my makeup brushes and magnetic mirror. The left compartment housed my hair curlers, hair straighter, and other supplies of the like. My right compartment stored my jewelry and large miscellaneous items.”
“I had extra space above the metal inserts, so this is where I stored my makeup bag and additional mirror. Even still, with all of these things, it never felt or looked overfilled.”

The Outcome
“I was absolutely thrilled with the performance of my Craft-n-Go. It offered an incredible amount of ease during prep time for competition. Everything was exactly where it needed to be at all times, and when it was time to pack up, all I needed to do was close the case and wheel it away – much more convenient than my previous routine.”
